Henry O. Hernandez, Jr. is Vice President, Director of Diversity & Inclusion for SAIC. He is responsible for providing thought leadership and strategic direction for diversity and inclusion processes enterprise wide. Prior to joining SAIC in May of 2009, Henry was Managing Director for Diversity & Inclusion Executive Consulting. His past professional experience includes first Chief Diversity Officer at American Express, Executive Director for Global Diversity Leadership at Pitney Bowes and other key corporate and consulting positions. He is also a former Intelligence Officer for the Central Intelligence Agency. Henry is co-founder and first President of the National Society of Hispanic MBAs (NSHMBA). Past NSHMBA recognition includes first Ultimate Hispanic Executive, Executive Circle and first NSHMBA Brillante Award for Member Service. Henry holds a BA degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rice University and MBA from the Anderson School at UCLA. He is a member of the Diversity Council of the Conference Board and serves as steering committee member for the Washington Area Diversity Roundtable.
