Glynn Key joined GE in July 2006 as General Counsel of GE Water & Process Technologies. From July 2006-July 2007, she held the joint position as General Counsel of the GE Gasification Business where she shepherded the regulatory approval for one of the largest commercial scale IGCC plants in the US.
Prior to GE, Glynn was a partner in the Corporate Group at WilmerHale in Washington, DC, where she had a broad general corporate practice from 1996-2006. From 1993-1996, Glynn served in the first Clinton Administration at the Department of the Interior. Over the course of three years, Glynn was Special Assistant and Counselor to Secretary Bruce Babbitt and the Associate Solicitor of the Department. Glynn began her legal career as an Associate at Covington & Burling in Washington DC.
Glynn graduated from the University of Virginia with an Interdisciplinary BA and a JD from the Law School.
Glynn’s civic activities include serving on the Board of Visitors, University of Virginia (the Educational Policy Committee (Chair) and Executive Committee), and the Governing Council of the Miller Center for Public Affairs, a think tank devoted to the study of US national governmental institutions, policies and programs.
