Gloria Ysasi-Diaz has served as Grainger’s Vice President of Logistics Management since September 2006. She has responsibility for managing the company’s inventory and transportation throughout the United States. Ms. Ysasi-Diaz joined Grainger in January 2005 as Vice President of Operational Excellence. Prior to this, she served as Senior Vice President of Process Management at RR Donnelley, where she was responsible for the development and implementation of improvement strategies across the company’s 25 manufacturing facilities. Ms. Ysasi-Diaz joined RR Donnelley in 1984 and held a wide variety of business management positions within the company. She began her career with General Electric in 1978. In 2002, the YMCA recognized Ms. Ysasi-Diaz’s professional accomplishments by presenting her with its Black and Hispanic Achievers Award. Hispanic Engineer also recognized her as one of “The 50 Top Hispanics in Technology Business” in its June/July 2003 and January 2009 issue. Ms. Ysasi-Diaz is the vice chairman of the board of Chicago-based organization Women Employed as well as a board member of Catholic Healthcare Partners in Cincinnati. She holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York, and earned her master’s degree in business administration from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia.
