Gale Davis is a certified professional geriatric care manager at VCU Health System. In this capacity, Gale provides one-on-one consultations to help employees address their eldercare and dependent care needs. She also facilitates monthly brown bag seminars, provides information and referrals and arranges resource fairs to help employees who are in various stages of dealing with aging or disabled family members or other dependents. In addition, Gale works collaboratively with VCUHS’s on-site Adult Day Center. Gale is the geriatric social worker for VCUHS’s Geriatric Medicine’s House Calls program and she created the Geriatric Care Management program for Jewish Family Services of Richmond. In addition, Gale launched the care management service for Senior Solutions Home Care of Richmond. She also has been an instructor for VCU’s Department of Gerontology where she taught the course entitled, “The Business of Geriatric Care Management.”
