Fran Durekas is Founder and Chief Development Officer for CCLC where she provides executive leadership and support for new center openings, design and construction, long-term strategy development and client relations. Durekas is a member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and a board member for the California Polytechnic State University’s Child Development Department and the Oregon Environmental Council’s national Eco-Healthy Child Care Advisory Committee. Durekas is also actively involved in the Word Forum on Early Care and Education, World @ Work, and the Milken Global Conference. In October 2005, she was chosen as Alumni of the Year at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo for her contributions to the field of early childhood development. She holds a bachelor’s degree in human development from Cal Poly and has been certified through Boston College’s Work/Life Program.
