Fama Francisco’s role is General Manager, Global Baby Care Innovation. In this role, Fama has responsibility for Global Leading Edge and Front End Innovation, defining the future innovation pipeline of our P&G’s biggest brand Pampers sold in over 100 countries globally. As the highest-ranking and only Asian Female General Manager in P&G Cincinnati Headquarters, she is part of an emerging group of Asian Female leaders who has succeeded globally. Fama has lived and worked in multiple geographies and locations – Philippines, Japan, and then Cincinnati. She has led organizations across all aspects of our business – developed markets, lower-income markets, current business management, design and new business development. This profile has provided her the opportunity to take a broad view of the business and our consumers, which she shares with others who work along side her. These same experiences have created a unique leadership style that allows Fama to interact with peers, direct reports and her management in a trusting and engaging manner. Fama has also made significant contributions in diversity at P&G. In 2009, Fama was the Agora Awardee, Excellence in International Marketing, Philippine Market Association. Fama currently leads P&G’s Asia Pacific American Leadership Program and also participates in Executive Mentor, Xavier University Business Program. Fama is viewed as a woman who has, and is continuing to, blaze trails for other women. Fama was hired into the company as the first female Sales Manager in P&G Philippines after over 50 years in operation, paving the way for women to succeed in this field. Finally, Fama has progressed in her career, while raising a family. She is a mother of four young children and leads a global, fast paced, diverse organization and business.
