Erica O’Malley is a Partner and Employee Benefits Practice Leader for Grant Thornton. She has more than 20 years of experience in auditing Benefit Plans and has practiced exclusively in this area for more than 15 years. Since joining Grant Thornton in 2002, she has tripled the size of the Chicago practice and created a culture where women on flexible work arrangements flourish. Erica serves as the Midwest Regional Representative for Women at Grant Thornton and has been actively involved with the initiative since its inception in 2004. Erica was instrumental in the development of the AICPA Employee Benefit Audit Quality Center and served on its executive committee for three years. She is also a presenter for AICPA and Illinois CPA Society training courses and was recognized as a Woman to Watch by the Illinois CPA Society.
