Vice President of Workforce Readiness Policy, Corporate Voices for Working Families

Elyse Rosenblum is the Vice President of Workforce Readiness Policy for Corporate Voices for Working Families. In that role, Elyse oversees the research and development of public policy positions, as well as working with policymakers and nonprofit leaders to educate them about the business perspective on issues important to working families. She directs the strategy for the overall workforce readiness agenda, building policy and research coalitions as needed to execute the strategy. Previously, Elyse served as General Counsel and Senior Program Manager at Bass & Howes, a public policy consulting firm, where she specialized in education policy. In that role, she worked with nonprofits, foundations and corporations on a number of policy initiatives affecting children and families. Prior to that, Elyse was an associate with Hogan & Hartson, where she practiced in the areas of education and employment law. Elyse has a longtime commitment to both women’s leadership and issues that affect working families. She has served on the American Bar Association’s Individual Rights and Responsibilities Committee. She was the founder of the Texas Journal of Women and Law at the University of Texas School of Law. At Williams College, she served on the President’s Diversity Committee. She currently serves on the Board of her children’s Afterschool Program.
