Dr. Patricia Padilla, MD,MPH
Dr. Patricia Padilla is the Corporate Medical Director for General Motors since January 1, 2010.
She graduated as Medical Doctor from Xavier University, specialized in Occupational Medicine, holds a diploma in Business Administration and has a master’s degree in Industrial Hygiene and Safety, with specialization in Ergonomics.
Dr. Padilla began her career with General Motors in 1990 as an occupational plant physician. She was appointed Plant Medical Director and then served as the Andean Region (Colombia, Venezuela & Ecuador) Medical Director.
From 2005 to 2007 she was responsible for the GM Health Services in Latin America, Africa and the Middle East (LAAM region).
Prior to her current position, Dr. Padilla was the Regional Director for Health Services, Ergonomics and Industrial Hygiene in the former LAAM region.
She was born in Colombia, South America. She is married and has an 18 year old daughter. Speaks four languages and her hobby is to play piano.
