Donna M. Wilson is Vice President, Global Diversity and Inclusion with American Express Company. She is responsible for overseeing and managing the US Diversity and Inclusion team, while working closely with the US Diversity Council. In this role Ms. Wilson manages more than 23 Strategic Relationships that enhance the diversity agenda. In addition, Ms. Wilson is responsible for setting the global strategy for the company’s Market Segmentation and Employee Networks. Before joining American Express, Ms. Wilson was Northeast President of Washington Mutual’s Community and External Affairs division, a group dedicated to strengthening the company’s community-related activities. In this role, she oversaw all aspects of corporate giving, Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and community development initiatives, government affairs, affordable multi-family lending and investments, and employee volunteerism. The recipient of numerous awards, Donna has also been cited in Crain’s New York Business magazine’s “Top 100 Minority Executives” and “Top 40 Under Forty.”
