Donna Katen-Bahensky is President and CEO of the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics, one of the nation’s leading academic medical centers with nationally recognized programs in transplant, cardiology, oncology, neurosciences, pediatrics and orthopedics.
Ms. Katen-Bahensky is a member of the Administrative Board of the Council of Teaching Hospitals of the Association of American Medical Colleges and American Hospital Association’s Committee on Health Professions. She serves on the New American Foundation’s Health Policy Program, Health CEO’s for Health Reform is past chairwoman of the American Heart Association's Midwest Affiliate Board of Directors and in 2008, named a “Family Champion” by Working Mother magazine.
She’s held executive appointments at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Virginia Commonwealth University Health System and Medical College of Virginia Hospitals and Clinics, University of Nebraska Medical Center and the University of Michigan Hospitals. She received her B.A. and a master's degree in public health administration from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
