Consuelo Rodriguez
Consuelo Rodriguez is a Diversity Strategist within the Global Diversity & Inclusion group within Dell Inc. She is responsible for developing strategies for employee engagement across the company. In this role, she is the Global Program Manager for Dell’s Employee Resource Groups (ERG’s) and also partners with Dell’s Corporate and Latin America business units in furthering their diversity strategies. She led the recast of Dell’s ERG’s creating a strong operational and strategic framework to facilitate the partnership across the ERG’s and Dell’s broader business. This focus has elevated the ERG’s in Dell’s Diversity & Inclusion strategy by increasing the Global ERG membership by over 20%. She has been with Dell for 14 years. Previous to her diversity role, Consuelo held a number of finance controllership positions across the company. And previous to Dell, she was with IBM where she spent 10 years in various positions in accounting and finance.
Ms. Rodriguez has an undergraduate degree from the University of New Mexico and is a Certified Public Accountant. She is currently serving her 10th year on the Corporate Advisory Board of the National Society of Hispanic MBA’s. Her leadership has helped to advance NSHMBA’s mission across Central Texas & the US, while serving to meet Dell’s diversity mission. Additionally, she volunteers with her church and the Capital Area Food Bank.
Ms. Rodriguez lives in Austin, Texas with her husband and 2 children. She is originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico. During her free time, she enjoys listening to live music, wine tasting and spending time with family and friends.
