Cecelia Smith is vice president and general manager of Texas Instruments’ Mixed Signal Automotive Business Unit.  A 1992 electrical engineering graduate of California State University, Fullerton, Cecelia began her career in Rochester, New York with Xerox Corporation in the manufacturing organization. Two years later, she moved to San Jose, California to work for Micronics Computers as an applications engineer. In 1996, Ms. Smith joined TI’s Microprocessor Business Unit as a systems engineer. While at TI she has held several positions developing strategy and roadmaps, managing worldwide teams and customer relationships. She has been involved with the market creation and product development of several innovative technology areas including FireWire (IEEE-1394), Digital Amplifiers and Digital Audio Processors. She has more than 7+ years of experience in the consumer electronics industry specifically, digital television, digital cable set top box, digital camcorder, audio systems and 10+ years of experience in the computer and computer peripheral industry. A native of Los Angeles, California, Cecelia currently lives in Richardson, Texas with her husband and their two sons.
