Cassandra Alston
Cassandra Alston is a native of New Jersey and has over 21 years experience in project management, engineering, operations consulting and diversity.
Presently, Cassandra is Executive Director, Global Workforce Diversity at Johnson Controls in Milwaukee. In this role she oversees and manages diversity initiatives globally across all business units.
Previous to this role, Sandy was Vice President of Operations for the Johnson Controls Facility Management business unit. In this role she managed the technical and operational team supporting all Facility Management accounts in the USA and Latin America.
Sandy’s work experience prior to Johnson Controls includes operations consulting with Booz Allen & Hamilton, operations at Enron, and as a plant engineer for Exxon Mobil.
Cassandra received her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University where she was also captain of the Women’s Basketball team. She additionally holds an MBA from Northwestern University. She serves on the board of STEM Forward in Milwaukee and is a guest lecturer at Marquette University.
