Carmen Oveissi Field
Carmen Oveissi Field is an Analytic and Forensic Technology Principal in the New York office. She has over twenty years of experience in information technology, with a focus on supporting complex electronic discovery matters.
Prior to joining Deloitte she was the National Leader of the Forensic Technology consulting practice at Daylight Forensic & Advisory LLC. Her consulting engagements have included the design and implementation of litigation labs, the design and management of global data collection projects, the creation of electronic discovery plans and the auditing of electronic discovery vendor policies, procedures and work practices.
Ms. Field previously conducted penetration testing for financial institutions, designed, proposed and implemented secure solutions for NASA Headquarters while a member of the core architecture engineering team, developed and implemented secure information technology solutions at IBM Global Services and completed security analyses and remediation for multiple industries.
Ms. Field holds an MS in Information Management from the University of Washington and a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies of Biomedical Ethics from the University of Virginia. She is a
member of the Georgetown University CLE Advisory Board for E-Discovery Institute and is active in the Sedona Conference Working Group on Electronic Document Retention and Production and the Working Group on International Electronic Information Management and
Disclosure and has been appointed to the New York State Courts Working Group on EDiscovery.
