As Administrative Director of Human Resources, Cara Williams is responsible for planning, directing and administering all activities related to human resources at Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas, including strategic development, succession planning, legal and employee relations.  She also has system-wide responsibility for the strategic development of employee satisfaction and engagement.  Prior to joining Scripps in 2009, Cara worked for ARAMARK in their Healthcare Division and before that she worked for Best Buy for eight years in a leadership human resources role.   Cara received her Bachelor’s of Science degree from Eastern Illinois University, Charleston, IL and her Masters of Business Administration from Keller Graduate School, Chicago, IL.  She has been certified as a Professional Human Resource since 1999 and is a member of the American College of Health Care Executives.
