Barbara Corey is the Senior Vice President of Managed Care. She also has responsibility for the System’s Health Club, Health Place, and Daycare Operations. She has been with the System since 1999. She received her bachelor degree in Marketing from Auburn University in 1987. She also received a masters degree in Business Administration in 1993 and a masters degree in Health Administration in 1994 from Georgia State University. Prior to joining the System, Ms. Corey was the Director of Operations with Prudential Health Care. She was with Prudential for a total of eight years (1989-1995 & 1997-1999) and held a number of positions during this time including Group Underwriter and Manager of SeniorCare Operations. Additionally, Ms. Corey was a management consultant with Ernst & Young, LLP from 1995 to 1997 where she focused on healthcare clients and managed care projects.
