Barbara C. Wankoff

Throughout Barbara’s career she builds strategies and initiatives to help organizations support, develop, recognize and advance their people.  Her work at KPMG includes developing work/life and flexibility programs to support employees as they advance their career. Barbara also drives the strategy for retaining and advancing women at the firm. She established the Abilities in Motion network for partners and employees who have a disability, and those who are caregivers of individuals with special needs.  She joined KPMG in 2000 in the Center of Learning and Development and been in her current role since 2003.

Prior to joining KPMG, Barbara worked as a Human Resources Generalist and in Training and Development at SwissRe and The Chubb Group of Insurance Companies. Barbara sits on the Work/Life Leadership Council, and the Boston College Center for Work and Family Steering Committee. She is the recipient of the 2010 Chris J Kjeldsen Work/Life Legacy award.
