Anita Harper is a Director of Credit Suisse, based in London. She is Co-Head of EMEA Diversity and Inclusion which, at Credit Suisse, encompasses gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, working parents, disability and age-related programmes. In this role, Mrs. Harper is responsible for Diversity and Inclusion strategy development, employee education and training, employee and industry networks, diversity events, advising on new legislation, internal and external communication and benchmarking against peers. Mrs. Harper joined Credit Suisse in July 2006 from Barclays Capital where she was a Director most recently responsible for driving diversity initiatives in Fixed Interest Sales and Research. Previously she was Chief Operating Officer for Fixed Interest Sales and Research in Europe. Prior to that, she worked at Danske Bank for eight years as Head of Proprietary Credit Trading and previously as Head of Proprietary Long Term Credit Portfolio Management. Mrs. Harper holds a B.A. (Hons) in French Area Studies [with Music and European Cinema] from the University of East Anglia.
