Alice Marcy, PhD is Scientific Operations Officer at Dynamis Therapeutics, Inc., a small research based pharmaceutical drug discovery company near Philadelphia, PA. She manages internal research efforts and coordinates collaborative activities between Dynamis scientists and external groups including CROs and academic institutions to discover therapies for diabetes complications. Prior to her work at Dynamis, Alice performed preclinical drug discovery research at Merck Research Laboratories for 12 years. She subsequently moved to the Department of External Scientific Affairs at Merck, and handled the identification and scientific evaluation of partnering opportunities, including research arrangements with industry, government and non-profit institutions. She has a PhD degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Biochemistry, Cellular and Molecular Biology and did postdoctoral work at Harvard Medical School.
