A former Pulitzer-nominated journalist, he is author of Adoption Nation: How the Adoption Revolution is Transforming America, which has been reviewed as “the most important book ever written on the subject.” And he is the author of many chapters and articles on family issues in books, scholarly journals and mass-market publications. Pertman has delivered hundreds of keynotes, trainings and other presentations in the U.S. and internationally, and is the recipient of numerous awards.
