What should a contributor deliver?
*original 500-word (give or take) original essay (and tips if appropriate)
*footer information re: specialty and/or link
*headshot (200 x 200 jpg with your name in image title)
*short profile/bio (3 sentences)
*Twitter handle encouraged
Deadlines:
We have rolling deadlines. Depending on number of submissions, your contribution should be published within a month. At times, because of an editorial calendar, we will schedule a particular theme and take that into consideration when publishing a submission.
Is Publication guaranteed?
No. The content will appear at the editor’s discretion on workingmother.com and may appear, in our e-newsletter or other publications and titles.
Will I get Paid?
There is no compensation for submissions. The entry may be edited for length or at the editor’s discretion. The content will become the property of Working Mother Media under the copyright of our websites. Please read terms of service.
