Happy Thanksgiving Moms!!!!!
It is snowing here in the Philadelphia suburbs, what a beautiful scene. It really makes the holidays; there is just something about this formula, snow+holidays. I have Christmas music playing in the background while I make my cheesy potato scallops to bring to dinner with me to Thanksgiving dinner. The snow, music and the aroma of the cheese melting over the potatoes makes me realize how THANKFUL I am for everything that I have, although at times it’s not perfect but it is perfect for me, I hope that everyone out there today feels the same way I do. I hope that between cooking and spending time with your family that you take a step back and take it all in, and notice how truly perfect your messy kitchen, messy house, fighting family and your kids pulling on your pant legs truly is. Ladies don’t worry about cleaning up today just spend that cleaning time with your family and enjoy it. (Beep) There goes the oven timer, I have be writing and staring at the snow for the last 40 minutes. I will end by saying to you that I am thankful for all of the stay at home moms, working moms and of course the dads that help put the whole messy perfect picture together!!! Enjoy the Holidays!!
