At Wellstar’s two child-care centers in suburban Atlanta, experienced caregivers (teacher tenure averages over ten years) expertly blend fun with learning for babies through preteens. Each classroom is stocked with books, math and art supplies and a computer. Children can take ballet classes or tumbling. Outside, the exploration continues on the soft-surface playground where children bike, climb and run. Both centers have gardens where kids have planted tomatoes, beans, squash and lots of flowers.
