"We love you!" shouted a man in the audience. He wanted Hillary to know, at the beginning of her speech, that we really do love her. I wanted to shout with him, but I was already misbehaving terribly for a press member. I am here as press, but I couldn't disguise my feelings when Hillary came into the Pepsi Center tonight. I stood and I shouted and I whistled and I sent her my love just like the people on the floor of the convention.
Her speech was amazing, and capped an amazing day for me. I loved her comment about "my sisterhood of the traveling pantsuits." And watching her in her orange pantsuit I could believe that a woman will someday be president of this country.
She was very healing. She was very convincing. She was very genuine. I can put aside my disappointment now.
