Keeping Kids Safe From Second Hand Smoke

Posted on April 21, 2011

I am a freak when it comes to keeping my kids away from second hand smoke.  For this reason, I invite all of my friends that have to smoke to try out electronic cigarettes.

I've already got my mother on them, and it's such a nice thing for my family.  No more ash trays, no more waste, and no more going on walks outside to provide company to someone who does not want to feel rude in your own home by smoking.  (It's appreciated when people do this, but a bit rude to just take off during the middle of conversation - don't you think?)

I don't know the long term effects of these "e cigarettes" as people call them, but short term, I don't have to deal with any second hand smoke.  Even better, my kids don't have to be exposed to it - which is a big deal to me personally.  I absolutely hate when I have to smell my children, after being at a friends house, and smell the second hand smoke from their friends family members. It's disgusting, and simply rude.

If you have any people near you who smoke, introduce them to these new, vaporized versions of cigarettes.  You will be glad you did, and you can thank me later.
