Sometimes the best way to fight a headache is before it starts. Try these preventive measures to manage post-work head pain.

1. Have a snack. Rather than wait until dinnertime, eat a banana or other fruit so your blood sugar doesn’t drop and cause a headache.

2. Stay on schedule. Rushing home might spur a stress headache. Try to wrap up work around the same time each day to avoid evening panic.

3. See your doctor. If your head hurts more than twice a week on a regular basis, get it checked out by a medical professional. 

Tip: Keep that water bottle handy. Make sure you're well hydrated to avoid headaches.
