Try these easy strategies to make sure your weekend habits don’t undermine healthy eating.

1. Set the stage. Stock up on fruits, veggies, hummus and Greek yogurt so you have lots of healthy choices when you search the fridge for a Saturday treat.

2. Snack before date night. Don’t “save room” for an indulgent restaurant dinner. Have a mini meal before you go out to help you avoid overeating.

3. Think before you drink. Feel free to imbibe, but set a limit: one glass of wine or one alcoholic drink mixed with seltzer and lemon instead of sugary soda.
