Flex Leadership Summit

Posted on January 28, 2010

Working Mother Media recognizes the demand for knowledge by corporate leaders on how to make flex work in the business.  We officially launched the 2010 events season with the Flex Leadership Summit on Wednesday, January 27th. Held at Credit Suisse's NY headquarters on Madison Avenue, the one-day conference gathered senior corporate leaders from the US, UK, Singapore and Mexico to discuss how to successfully implement Flexible Work Arrangements and Informal Flex for millions of employees. Human resource professionals were joined by business managers in a lively discussion of what's working and what's next in the work-from-home, reduced hours and career flex revolution that has changed the way corporations recruit, retain and manage employees.

Speakers from Citi, JP Morgan Chase, Johnson and Johnson, Ernst and Young, IBM, Merck, Marriott and American Express explained how their organizations implemented sophisticated flex programs to support their business success.

I had the priviledge to co-chair the event with Todd Sears, Credit Suisse Director and head of Americas of Diversity and Inclusion.
