How do you dress for the office? Whether you look like you're rocking the runway, are a jeans-and-tee kind of girl or go for corporate-type suits, we invite you to share what you wear to work with us and the Working Mother community.
To show off your working mother office style, tweet us a photo @_workingmother_ or email editors@workingmother.com. Include how many kids you have and a sentence about your personal style. We’ll share it with our workmom posse on our Facebook page, on our Pinterest page, on Twitter via the hashtag #workmomstyle and on workingmother.com.
So get to it! Snap a photo yourself on your smartphone, or pose for a co-worker during a coffee break. Feel free to share anything from a full-on outfit to your favorite pair of workplace shoes.
To kick things off, our staff shares what we Working Mother editors wear to work. Creative director and mom of two Ebby Antigua (pictured left) says, "I'm always moving around the office—whether I'm in a meeting or designing—so I like to feel comfortable all day. For that reason I like wearing jeans to work. Best to keep them dark and slim so they're office-suitable. I pair them with a refined top like a silk blouse and accessorize with earrings, necklaces and bracelets. Oh, and don't forget the heels!" Deputy editor and mom of one Barbara Turvett (pictured right) says, "I’m a believer in great-fitting jeans (dark blue or black) and a fun pair of platform heels for the office. Then I top off my look with a pop of color and a crop sweater. I splurged on this blouse, which luckily got the stamp of approval from my very fashionable teenage daughter."
