I first learned about silly bands from my grandson and my co-workers' daughter. For a fad, it's not too intrusive, or expensive. Now, there is a movie coming out - TOMORROW in fact - featuring silly bands. Called, Bands on the Run, one of my youth film critics, Anthony Aranda (age 8) from San Diego has reviewed it for me. Here's a link to his review and you can read it below.
"I just saw a great movie called Bands on the Run. This movie is pretty much about a group of silly bands that go on an adventure.
Silly bands are really popular right now at my school. The movie takes us on an adventure with a group of silly bands that get lost on their way to a store. They travel trying to find their way to the store so that they can find a kid of their own.
My favorite part of the movie is at the beginning. I like the truck drivers that deliver the silly bands. They were so funny and had really big hands, which made them look so silly
My favorite character in the movie was the light bulb silly band because he had all the big ideas, which I think it really cool.
I would recommend this movie for ages nine and younger. Parents won’t really think this movie is that funny but younger kids will think its hilarious! Go out and get this movie when it comes out on DVD.
