Super Soaker
Set up the sprinkler and gather the kids and friends in a circle for ring-around-the-rosy. each will have to pass through the sprinkler as the song goes on (they’ll try to run quickly past the spatter of water), but when the song ends and everyone falls down, the ones nearest the sprinkler will get soaked.

Splash Ball
Help kids use a water hose to fill up medium-size balloons halfway. Then have them stand in a circle. one child tosses a water balloon to another, who must catch it and not let it pop. With each toss, the kids take one step back to make the circle bigger—and make the toss-and-catch more challenging. the child who catches the most balloons without popping wins.

Sponge Tag
Fill two buckets with water and dip sponges in until they’re drenched. Just like in freeze tag, whoever is “it” tries to tag by someone by tapping him with a sponge. (Make sure kids aren’t throwing the sponges, and also, have them avoid the face!) You’re unfrozen when someone else comes to tag you.
