5 Easter Crafts for Kids

Sweet Topiary

Topiaries bring spring colors into your home. This simply sweet craft is fun for kids and will brighten up your seasonal table or party display.

Topiaries bring the outdoors inside, especially when spring is just around the corner. These cute topiaries do so without bringing the little critters and pollen inside with them. This is a simple craft that will brighten up any table or display for your springtime party. Kids and adults alike will love this colorful and fun addition. 
What You’ll Need:
1.) Hard Candies, Variety of pastel or Easter colors (like Jelly beans or Peanut M&Ms)
2.) Glue Gun
3.) Dowels
4.) Terracotta pots
5.) Paint
6.) Faux Moss
7.) Styrofoam Balls and squares.
How to make it: 
1.) Paint the pots and dowel whichever color you would like. Let Dry.
2.) Attach each styrofoam ball to a dowel. Place styrofoam squares inside the pots, then stick the other end of the Dowel inside. 
3.) Start gluing the candies to the styrofoam balls until covered completely. (If you don’t want to glue small candies on, you can also stick lollipops into the strofoam.) 
4.) Add moss to cover the styrofoam in the pot. Now, display

What you’ll need:

  • paint
  • terracotta pots
  • small dowel rods
  • styrofoam balls and squares
  • glue gun

How to make it: 

1. Help your child paint the pots and dowels whichever colors he likes. Let dry.

2. Let him attach each styrofoam ball to a dowel, place styrofoam squares inside the pots, then stick the other end of the dowel inside.

3. You can use the glue gun to attach the candies to the styrofoam balls until covered completely. (If you don’t want to glue small candies on, you can also stick lollipops into the styrofoam.) 

4. Your child can add moss to cover the styrofoam in the pot. Then display!
