Jennifer Owens is Editorial Director of Working Mother magazine & Director of the Working Mother Research Institute.

As Editorial Director, Jennifer leads the editorial mission of Working Mother magazine through its many channels, reaching more than 2 million readers nationwide.

For the Working Mother Research Institute, Jennifer oversees the Working Mother 100 Best Companies, Best Companies for Multicultural Women, and Best Companies for Hourly Workers, as well as the National Association of Female Executives Top 50 Companies and NAFE/Flex-Time Lawyers Best Law Firms for Women. She also manages the Diversity Best Practices Assessment and Benchmarking Tool.

Jennifer is a charismatic public speaker and has been interviewed by major media outlets such as the New York Times, CNN, Fox Business News and USA Today as well as dozens of local newspaper, magazine, radio and television outlets. She also speaks and writes regularly on work/life issues. She is an award-winning journalist who has covered education and business trends for more than a decade and a working mom to daughter, Gwendolyn, and son, Owen.
