Women in China thoroughly understand what it means to be a good daughter-in-law and a daughter. Often career ambitions are hampered due to taking care of a parent, a child or a spouse. Sometimes it means taking a less-stimulating job to free up time, relocating to be near a parent or in-laws, or leaving the workforce entirely. How do you manage expectations at work and at home? What support mechanism can you put into place or create in order to better balance your work load and personal responsibilities?
