School bus bullying: Has bullying reached new heights?

Last week, the entire country was stirred emotionally by a video that went viral on YouTube. The footage showed bus monitor Karen Klein being bullied by a bunch of mean middle school–age boys, who taunted her with expletives and comments cruel enough to shock viewers everywhere.

You do make a difference . . .to me

I found this post from a blog I started but never really had a chance to get going . . thought I would share here because the message was very inspiring to me.  The picture is from our trip to Ethiopia.

If you haven't yet heard about the viral YouTube video that hit this week, titled, "Making the Bus Monitor Cry," consider yourself lucky. The video shows a group of seventh grade boys ridiculing, verbally abusing and even poking an elderly bus monitor. The language and the hatred from these young boys is appalling and so difficult to watch that I couldn't even finish the entire 10 minute video.

I'm Two-Faced

I recognize this is not an achievement, and I have no intent in glorifying this as a strength in any way.

Video Response to @mombizcoach tweet about Multi-tasking Moms

Posted on June 06, 2012

@Mombizcoach wants to know
about your craziest multitasking mom moment. Being a female entrepreneur or a
FOGUL (Female + Mogul) as I call it, can get taxing and I don't have a nanny
like Kimora Lee Simmons so I do the best this Single Momager can do. Take a
look at my video on one of my crazy MMMs....

Business as Usual

I really did some work today! I typed up two articles that I was working on! I actually felt slightly worn out when I was done.(because I was working yesterday as well) I'm half way across the finish line! Then I went peeking around to catch up on all the latest news going on. It wasn't much- but it sure made me smile today! Tomorrow is another day-who knows how much creativity I'll have in store? I have to make sure it's all meaningful and every body will want to read what I have to say. I feel like I'm doing something right here.

All I Did Was Get Some Work Done...

Nothing happened this weekend-all I did was visit with family. I also was able to get some new ideas down for my blog and other things.

Maybe I'll get even more inspired to write later. The weather was a little too hot for me to run up and down trying to do fun things.

State of The Audit - Part I

Last week, I wrote about the need to conduct a Personal Brand Audit in my life. Having been greatly inspired by a certain Digital Princess - @AmyJoMartin from Digital Royalty, to clear out the clutter, simplify where needed and increase organization to maximize my day, I wanted to give you an update on my progress, lest you think I was full of you know what.

After all, follow through is key!

Mom’s the Word!

Mom’s the Word!

We all know that motherhood is a constant juggling act. Between sports practice, school activities, homework and our constantly-buzzing Blackberries, it’s no small miracle when we’re able to get dinner on the table. But just because things don’t always go the way we planned (ok, they rarely go the way we planned) doesn’t mean we can’t stop to enjoy a MomWin: those brief, shining moments when we get it perfectly, shockingly and magically right—or when you just have to laugh that it went wrong.

Get to know our guest Adrian Bustamante with these 5 Questions

This Saturday the Divas will be sitting down and having virtual cocktails with actor Adrian Bustamante as he fill us in on some of his upcoming projects like his guest appearance on ABC's "Don't Trust The B---- in APT 23" which premiered this Wednesday. We had a chance to sit down with Adrian the other night and asked him a few burning questions that were on our minds. Take a peek...

1. Boxers or briefs?

I am definitely a briefs guy, but not the tighty whitey briefs I wear the boxer briefs. My friends and I used to call them bundies.
