I'm on a mini-vacation with my son. Well, truly, we came to Florida so my son could have an operation, but he is doing so well that we are able to have a bit of fun. Anyhoo, I digress. As we were in a store yesterday, this kind lady offered to watch my son (he got tired and needed to sit outside the store) so I could pay for my purchases. When I came back, she looked at me and said "I don't know how you Single Moms do it, but I applaud you." Now, it needs to be mentioned that I did not have a conversation with this lady about my status (single or married) nor did we even exchange names.
