Ten Memorable Celebrity Mom Quotes

Whether good or bad, celebrities often have a lot to say.  It could be totally heartfelt or completely vain, but whatever it is, we’re usually listening.  And, when it comes to parenting, although celebrity moms seem a world apart from 9-5 moms, they sometimes say things that remind us, our common bond of motherhood makes us closer than we think.

Three Meals, One Dinner

Three meals and one dinner has been my life for almost eight years. But things are going to change in my house and here is why.

What I Want for Working Mother’s Day

Posted on May 09, 2013

It’s that time of year again – time for handmade cards and way-too-early-in-the-morning kisses from the kids and a spa gift card from the husband. (I’ve been looking forward to my annual Mother’s Day massage for more than a month now.) Just the gifts I want as a mom.

Motherhood Lesson: What Load Balancers and a Power Outage Taught Me about Myself and Transitions

I decided I’d rather have happiness over folded laundry. I'm not saying that is wrong. What I'm asking is, is that "all"?

The Worst Travel Guilt – The Boston Marathon Bombings

Let me start by saying that as a Boston resident, I am very lucky that my family and friends were not physically harmed in the recent marathon bombings. I'm also very appreciative and understanding of the fact that although I travel more than the average mom, I don't travel as much as some other working moms out there.
