Weil
Women make up 47% of their associates.
The firm’s affinity group, Women@Weil, has chapters in all its 20 offices, from Miami to Munich. The Frankfurt chapter recently held its first networking event for female attorneys and clients, while the Warsaw office hosted a conference for women attorneys across Europe. The firm is also testing innovative mentoring programs designed to retain women and improve diversity: The Mommy Buddy program pairs new-mom associates with a colleague of their choice who stays in touch during maternity leave and helps ease the transition back to work. A new diversity report will track turnover and promotions by gender, race and sexual orientation across practices.
