Your Dream Business

By Andreea Ayers

I ran my own t-shirt company, Tees for Change, which I recently sold a few months ago because I want to focus more of my time on working with creative entrepreneurs. From running my company and doing so much of it myself, I have become an expert in the following:

-getting your products into stores
-getting your products into magazines and the media
-increasing your sales online
-finding customers
-optimizing your website for the best user experience
-running a business while being a mom (I have two kids, who are 2 and 4 and a third one due any day now)
-anything else that relates to growing your business
-selling your business

When I had my t-shirt company I was able to get my shirts in over 300 stores, boutiques and national chains and my shirts were mentioned in over 200 media outlets, including SELF, Shape, Ladies Home Journal, Glamour, USA Today, ABC, CBS, NBC and even on TV and celebrities. I reached six figure sales in about a year and my company was always profitable, so I was able to support myself and my family while my husband attended grad school full time.

Needless to say, I learned a lot and would love to share my knowledge with you.
