Working Mother has launched a campaign to make paid parental leave universally available to U.S. workers by 2015, the 30th anniversary of the Working Mother 100 Best Companies. To get started, we teamed up with the National Partnership for Women & Families to create an online petition to Congress calling for a national paid leave standard.
Join our fight by signing our online petition and logging on for our Tweet Chat on Tuesday, Sept. 27th from 9:30-10:30pm. Workingmother.com editor Helen Jonsen and Working Mother Editorial Director Jennifer Owens will be your twitter hosts as we discuss this new partnership and the importance of universal paid parental leave in America using the hashtag #WMPaidLeave.
