Once upon a time.....there was a girl named Jodi. When she was young, she dreamed of being the first woman president. Or Speaker of the House. Or something "super cool" that would allow her to wear a snazzy suit to work and boss people around :)

Fast forward about, oh, 30 years (give or take).

Here I am living in the suburbs of Northern California, married, raising my two kids, juggling a career, business or two (or three), and life in general. But I love it. I wouldn't have it any other way.

Yes, I still have my dreams, but they have evolved and morphed over time and how my life has played itself out. I am still passionate about chasing after what I believe in and have found that what I truly enjoy is helping people find that passion in themselves.

I blog about the everyday challenges that women in business, specifically women who OWN businesses, face. I offer suggestions, solutions and pose questions that hopefully encourage my readers to soar higher.
