My biggest pet peeve: When people think they need to take a pay cut.  Learn how to keep from underestimating the market value of your role and undervaluing your contributions when returning to the workforce. Avoid common compensation valuation pitfalls, such as thinking it will take time to “get up to speed.”

My topics include:

• How to determine the appropriate market value (base salary) of a targeted role
• How to consider previous roles and contributions when developing and articulating a desired salary range for prospective employers
• How to present the desired salary to prospective employers in light of market values and past contributions
