Several weeks ago I went into my ObGyn for my annual exam. Most women do not enjoy this event. I was quite looking forward to it. I like my doctor. While she is younger than I am, she is a good listener and willing to take action and try things to help me get some much needed spring back in my step.
After the pap smear and a few other necessities we had a conversation about how I feel on a daily basis. Tired, grouchy....the list goes on and on. I want to have mostly good days, not mostly fatigued ones. Sure, you can say change your schedule, slow down, and all the other things my mom would tell me if I had this conversation with her. But I like my schedule! I enjoy what I do. I just want to feel better while I am doing it.
My doctor suggested trying B12 injections. I immediately said, "Great, let's do it". I am up for trying anything, in most situations, that might make it easier to reach my desired result. B12 injections seemed like a good place to start. I just had my fourth one today. I feel better and definitely have more energy. I am less crabby. My doctor supports the injections and I have had no negative side affects. I'll admit it could be a placebo affect, but I don't think so. And even if it is, who cares?
I feel good! The sun is shining in my world. Isn't that what matters?
Has anyone else discussed B12 injections with their doctor? I'm curious what your experiences have been.
