The Stuff That Dreams Are Made Of

The Packers finished their season today 6-0 UNDEFEATED !  In case you are confused, this isn't the NFL I'm referring to.  No, this would be nine year old flag football.  You may recall my post on how it took our entire extended family to get through the first football game of the season. We've honed our craft and now have the flag football games down to a science. Not always a perfect science, but each week brings another victory, leading us up to the final winning game of the season.  I'm not sure if the Packers or their coach (my husband) was happier.  What a positive experience this season was for our whole family. When there wasn't a conflict with cross country or soccer, we would all attend the games and laugh at the goings on, both on the field and on the bench. My little guy is learning self control and patience, my husband has had his patience stretched beyond his wildest imagination and I think most of the kids took something positive away from the season.  What more could a coach's wife and player's mom ask for ?
