Power Apron

By Donna Farber
I am a mother and a busy professional trying to balance life and career. I work in the legal world by day, and spend the rest of my time creating memories with Mark, my adored husband, and Ryan and Chloe, our beloved children. In my quest to be everything to everyone, I prepare easy, 10 minute, one bowl (mostly) meals for my family–either before or after work. The goal is to be able to spend the most quality time possible with my special children as they learn and grow, healthy and happy. Please join me as I move from the boardroom to the kitchen, as seamlessly as possible. Let’s share stories, life lessons and, of course, quick, healthy, delicious recipes.

For Mark’s birthday, we had a small BBQ featuring smoked meats, of course. This Thai Coleslaw was a great accompaniment, along with corn on the cob and a pesto pasta salad. The flavours come together nicely and the combination of sesame and peanut tastes make this s ... Read more...
Imagine a camp fire, without the camp fire. These bars taste like a combination of caramel and chocolate, with a chewy marshmallow crunch. They are beyond addictive so beware. You need 5 minutes to prepare the bars, and another 5 to wash the pot. Thank you, Betty. Read more...
