I am a 27 year-old single mother to a beautiful 7 year-old boy. I have full custody of my son and it makes it hard for me to find work. I admire and am almost jealous of the women who make the job life and parent life look so easy. I guess that is because I have been unemployed for a couple years. But in any case this blog will follow my new year's resolution of finding a job and becoming more independent as a woman and a mother.
