Big news! I’ve crossed the 15-pound mark! O.M.G.
I really don’t have much more to say this week except YAY! (I was going to say Yahoo, but them I remembered this.
I’m just slogging through, trying to stay the course both in terms of my eating and my thinking. The later is the hardest, right? I had been reading The Beck Diet Solution, as suggested by Elizabeth DeRobertis, my most amazing nutritionist who weighs in regularly on this blog. Honestly, I love the book, but I’m only about half way through because Dr. Beck asks you to do certain things – to commit to certain action – and I’ve yet to have a moment to do it!
But I need to get back to the book, even if I can’t quite commit to every aspect. I find myself sneaking a little something sweet (OK, chocolate!) more and more. In true addict fashion, one taste for me leads to a complete head-first stumble into a whole package of Oreos. I don’t want to do that, so tonight I’m back to Beck.
