It's time for ME time, ahora! I haven't done this in over 3 years. How will I do that? Blogging? Yes please! My life as a married mother of two in my warm West LA rented 1 bedroom condo world, has meant navigating through thoughts on ways to expose my children to positive images of people of color and deciding which schools can be true advocates for my children and our family. I think ME time in the past was mistaken for figuring out how to convince a gym to provide income-based memberships. Do they exist? ME Time was also figuring out how to get 2 adults and two young kids in a 1 bedroom; a challenge similar to taking on Advanced Saduko at 3 AM, while knitting a cat suit (for QT with hubby) with fresh painted red nails. These are my experiences and the thoughts that come with them.
