The list of Most Powerful Moms: America's CEOs was a short list at the end of last year when we published it.  And it almost mirrored the list of women CEOs overall. Now there is one less.  Avon's prominent leader is vacating the CEO's office. In a corporate statement, Avon said, it will separate the titles of Chief Executive Officer and Chairman, titles both held by Andrea Jung. 

The company says she will retain the Chairman's role as they seek a new CEO.

Jung has been CEO since 1999, seen as a leader for the new miliienium. She has been a vocal advocate for the advancement of women.
